I examined how Taylor Wimpey treats buyers in this piece for the Telegraph. Taylor Wimpey has since set aside £130m to change leases but I don’t think that will solve the problem – the freeholds should be sold to homeowners are the price quoted in the sale suite. It’s the only fair solution.
